Jared's musical interest has been influenced by the many musicians in his family. His uncle played bass guitar with "Mike Broussard and Night Train" for 25 years.
Jared started his musical career in the 5th grade at St. Amant Middle School playing alto saxophone. Entering high school, he played tenor saxophone in the Concert Band and later moved up to the Wind Symphony Band playing baritone saxophone.
As a child, Jared always dreamed of being in a band. At the age of 14, he joined a group in Gonzales, called "Typikal Reason" playing tenor sax. After playing with "Typikal Reason" for 4 years, he joined Bits & Pieces in August of 2002. He always loved to hear the powerful sound of Bits & Pieces and now enjoys being part of that sound.
As a young child Jared acquired the nick name "Boo" and the name has stuck. Jared loves playing music and spending time hunting and fishing with friends. Jared resides in French Settlement, LA.
