Susie Louque has had a deep admiration for singing every since she could remember. Her love for music stems from her mother who still plays organ and sings in the church choir. Susie also sings in the choir and has been singing in weddings since 1983.
Susie has been performing with local bands since 1985. Some of them include, Creole, Lil Boppers, Flex, and now Bits & Pieces. She has loved Bits & Pieces since the early 60's and used to sneak into clubs when she was younger just to hear them.
Susie feels right at home singing the blues, country, and soul from some of the greats, like Etta James, LeeAnn Rimes, Reba McIntyre, Irma Thomas, and Aretha Franklin.
Susie lives in Lutcher with her husband, Mark. She has two children, Mark Jr. and Michelle. Mark Jr. recently moved to New York to pursue a singing and acting career on Broadway. Michelle works at a local credit union and still lives at home. They both love singing.
Susie thanks everyone who comes out and listens to Bits & Pieces. She loves meeting new people, making new friends and having fun. She says that's what it's all about!
